To Add a Person or Skill to an Existing Record

You can add a person or skill group to an existing Level, in a responsibility matrix.

Follow these steps to add a person or skill group to a responsibility matrix, in AssetWise CONNECT Edition ALIM.

  1. Open the responsibility matrix for which you want to add a new person or skill.
  2. Select the Management tab.
  3. Enter search criteria in the By Levels, and By responsiblity sections, in order to extract relevant records in the responsibility matrix, and then click Search. Records filtered according to your search criteria appear in the Search results section.
  4. To add a person or skill group, do the following:
    1. In the Search results section, select one or more Level rows in the matrix for which you want to assign a new person or skill,
    2. In the Manage results section, select Person or Skill, and then enter a person or skill group name that you want to add to the matrix, in the box provided.
    3. Select each responsibility that you want to assign to this new person or skill group.
    4. In Apply to options, select Selected results to apply the changes to the rows selected in Step 4 (a).
    5. When you are finished, click Add.
The Person or Skill group and assigned Roles, are now added to the appropriate Levels in the matrix.
